Write something that gets people talking back- which is guess what you just did?! When I was maintaining my blog (this whole phd thing put a wrench in that venture), I always found myself more excited about posting when I was getting comments and feedback from readers. It helped me remember that people were reading my posts and dialoging with me in the process. Can’t you tell I’m an extrovert :)
There are a few things I do to get inspired – revisit old posts or sources, see what search terms people have used to find my blog, type in keywords related to my topic in Google and see if that provokes any sort of reaction or source material, or I go shopping. :)
